GUIDES

How to recognize a customer signal.

A customer signal is a public post where someone is trying to solve a problem, replace a tool, or ask for a recommendation. It is not every mention of a category.

Look for an open job

Strong posts usually contain a job: plan a project, replace a whiteboard, stop doing something by hand. Weak posts only name a tool.

Prefer questions over announcements

“What do you use instead of X?” is closer to a customer than “X launched a new feature.” Nedly is built for the first kind of conversation.

Read the reason, not only the score

A high score means the conversation is likely relevant. The explanation tells you why. If the reason does not match your product, skip it.

Reply only when you can help

Nedly can draft a reply. It will not post. If you cannot add something useful, do not use the thread as distribution.
