Strictly necessary
nedly_session is an HTTP-only session cookie used to keep you signed in and to protect authenticated actions. It is required for the product to function. nedly_oauth is a short-lived HTTP-only cookie used only during Google sign-in to protect that request (state and PKCE). It is not used for advertising.
Preferences
Appearance (light, dark, or system) is stored in your account when signed in, and may also be remembered in localStorage as nedly-theme. nedly_consent stores whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. These are preferences, not advertising trackers.
Analytics
When you accept analytics, Nedly loads Google Analytics via gtag.js with measurement ID G-TVHEEWV3LB. Google may set its own cookies or use similar identifiers to measure page views and usage. This does not load if you choose Necessary only or turn analytics off later.
Marketing
Nedly does not currently load marketing or advertising cookies.
Consent
A cookie banner asks whether to allow optional analytics. Your choice is stored in nedly_consent. Signed-in users also have a ConsentPreference record. You can change the choice later in Settings → Data & Privacy. Optional analytics does not load before that consent is recorded.
