A weekly SaaS discovery routine

Customer discovery becomes a habit when it has a small weekly shape. One pass over new public posts, a decision on each, and a handful of replies. A SaaS founder who does that learns faster than one who collects links and never answers.

Collect once, not all day

Run discovery when the brief is ready. On Pro you can let Daily Lead Drop do that on projects you enabled, at the cost of one credit. On Free, run Reddit when you have time to read the result. Do not refresh a keyword tool between meetings.

Qualify in one sitting

Open each new opportunity and keep or discard it. A keep has a matching problem and a reason to act. Move the rest out of the way. NedlyGo’s list is only useful if you clear it. A month of untouched rows is not a pipeline.

Reply to a few and record it

Send the replies you would sign. Mark them contacted. If someone answers, mark replied. At the end of the week you should be able to say how many conversations started. That number, not the size of the search, is the routine.

Questions

How many replies are enough?
Enough that you can remember them. Five specific replies beat fifty copies.
Do I need Daily Lead Drop for this?
No. A manual run is enough. Daily Lead Drop only removes the step of starting the scan.
