Use cases

Find customers for a developer tool

Developer tools spread when a specific person is blocked. NedlyGo looks for public posts about that block: a missing integration, a flaky workflow, or a question about what library other teams adopted.

Pains developers write down

The useful complaints are concrete. A CI job is too slow, an SDK does not cover an endpoint, local setup takes a day, or logs are impossible to query. Generic praise for “DX” is not a lead.

  • An integration that does not exist yet
  • A workaround the team is tired of maintaining
  • A question about what replaced an older library

Buying signals in technical posts

Intent shows up as a request for a maintained option, a migration, or a hosted version of something they built internally. A bug report with no interest in switching is a different kind of post and should not be pitched.

Examples

Someone asks for a tracing tool that works with their existing queue, not “observability” in the abstract. Someone else asks which auth library people moved to after a breaking release. Your docs page is what tells those posts apart.

How to show up

Answer the technical question first. NedlyGo can draft from the opportunity, but a developer audience will ignore a draft that skips the constraint they named. You send the reply from your own account.

Questions

Does NedlyGo read private GitHub issues?
No. Discovery uses indexed public web results. Private repositories and private communities are out of scope.
Is Reddit enough for a developer tool?
Often for a first pass. Add X and LinkedIn with Pro when buyers also ask outside Reddit.
