How to find customers on LinkedIn
LinkedIn is treated as a phone book. The useful part for customer discovery is smaller: public posts where an operator describes a workflow or asks peers what they adopted. Search that, not a title.

Search posts, not people filters
A people filter returns a job. A post returns a moment. Look for recommendation requests, renewal complaints, and “we outgrew” stories. If the post is not public, you will not find it through indexed search, and you should not pretend otherwise.
Match the workflow on your site
LinkedIn vocabulary is broad. “Looking for a tool” can mean anything. Keep the post only when the workflow matches the product page. NedlyGo uses the website as that definition on Pro, where LinkedIn is included.
Reply in the thread first
A connection request with a pitch attached throws away the context that made the post valuable. Comment on the actual question. Move to a private message only if they ask. NedlyGo will not send the connection or the InMail.
